Wisconsin DNR: Hunters Killed 451,885 Deer in 2008

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced this week in its 2008 Big Game Hunting summary that hunters killed just over 451,000 whitetail deer.
The number dropped 13 percent from last year’s final hunting figure results.
In 2000, the state hit a record deer kill for all gun and bow hunters with almost 615,000.
